Kylie Bucknell is forced to return to the house she grew up in when the court places her on home detention. However, when she too becomes privy to unsettling whispers & strange bumps in the night, she begins to wonder whether she's inherited her overactive imagination, or if the house is in fact possessed by a hostile spirit who's less than happy about the new living arrangement.

Η Kylie Bucknell αναγκάζεται από το δικαστήριο, λόγω παραβατικής συμπεριφοράς, να επιστρέψει στο πατρικό της για να εκτίσει την ποινή του κατ’ οίκον περιορισμού. Αλλά το χειρότερο μέρος της τιμωρίας της είναι ότι πρέπει να ζήσει με την μητέρα της, μια φλύαρη γυναίκα, η οποία πιστεύει πως το σπίτι είναι στοιχειωμένο. Η Kylie, βέβαια, δεν πείθεται από την μητέρα της μέχρι που αρχίζει να αντιλαμβάνεται να συμβαίνουν περίεργα πράγματα στο σπίτι. Αρχίζει λοιπόν να αναρωτιέται αν έχει κληρονομήσει την φαντασία της μητέρας της ή αν όντως το σπίτι είναι στοιχειωμένο.
